Cerbul is based on the dance of the deer, a winter ritual practised in particular regions of Romania that celebrates ancient beliefs in magical practices.

Muma pădurii is inspired from the story with the same name representing a character of duality as she holds unique powers of transformation. Deformed oldness but youthful beauty, malefic but benevolent, she stands as the ultimate protector of the natural world.

Zburătorul is based on the Romanian mythological story with the same name depicting the nocturnal agony of misplaced affections.

Pricolici is based on the Romanian mythological story with the same name portraying the inevitable perpetuation of malevolent acts.

Ongoing research in the form of textile art investigating Romanian mythological stories and rituals through the creation of contemporary masks subtracted of the wearer`s power. Each piece is inspired by a different story from the Romanian folklore repertoire visualizing the esoteric meanings of isolated cultural experiences and actions. The masks are made in Romania using discarded wool in natural color, dyed with natural plants and acid dyed, using solely traditional processing methods.
